NOTES
Foraging refers to the harvesting of resources which have a predictable and reliable distribution. So, while hunting is excluded, animal resources such as insects and shellfish have more in common with plants than big game or other mobile, evasive, and large animals.
However, in cases of particular interest, e.g., a clever hunting technique, I have included animal uses that would be considered hunting.
